No. This is an independent, unofficial app developed by a University of Nottingham alumnus to improve the campus travel experience. It is free to download and use, and contains no advertising.
The app covers University Park, Jubilee Campus, Sutton Bonington, Kegworth, Castle Meadow, King’s Meadow, Nottingham City Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Royal Derby Hospital, UoN Medical School, QMC Hospital and along with city-wide tram links.
No. The app is currently available only on Android via the Google Play Store. There are no plans to release an iOS version, primarily due to the ongoing costs and overhead required to publish and maintain apps on Apple’s platform.
The app uses a combination of live GPS vehicle locations and scheduled timetable data. While the GPS tracker shows the real-time position of buses where available, departure times at stops are based on published schedules rather than live delay information. If a service is delayed, diverted, or disrupted, the scheduled departure times may not reflect those changes. In addition, operators can take several days to update their published data, so recent or temporary changes may not appear immediately.
We would love to hear any feedback you have about the app, please share it for us to read by completing this form here.
